Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary is dedicated to providing rescued wolfdogs with a meaningful and fulfilled life while offering experiential education to promote the well-being and understanding of wolfdogs. By cultivating meaningful connections between wolfdogs and people, their goal is to inspire an appreciation for wolves in the world and a reconnection to the natural world. Just 50 km (32 mi) northwest of Calgary, they welcome visitors to tour the sanctuary to learn more about these majestic and misunderstood animals. The 3 different visiting options provide opportunities to view, learn about and even meet some of the wolfdogs that call the Sanctuary home. From exploring the peaceful pathways and the Sanctuary Walk, getting a closer look at a viewing structure with no visual barriers on the Intro Tour, to hand feeding a wolfdog on the Interactive Tour. Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary is open year-round. Admission prices vary with the selected tour.
